Overview
Improving Safety, Access, and Corridor Function
The City of Delray Beach is improving the connection between Lindell Boulevard and the Brant Bridge to enhance safety, accessibility, and overall corridor function. The project limits extend from Lindell Boulevard to Brant Bridge along Blue Jay Turn, Carl Bolter Drive and Avocet Road. This project is intended to support all users, including motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and individuals with disabilities.
This effort is being completed by the City of Delray Beach in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation and in accordance with applicable state and local transportation standards. The improvements are intended to create a more comfortable and reliable corridor for nearby neighborhoods, schools, businesses, residents, commuters, and visitors. The project will help fill sidewalk and shared-use path gaps, support safer crossings and connections, and refresh the roadway with upgraded markings and signing. During construction, access to residential and business properties will be maintained, and the project team will continue to share meeting information, materials, and project updates as they become available.
